Eva to play lead in '300' sequel

French actress Eva Green has been signed on to play the lead in "300" sequel.

The 31-year-old, last seen in "Casino Royale", will join Aussie actor Sullivan Stapleton in the follow-up to director Zack Snyder's cult 2006 film, reports hollywoodreporter.com. Noam Murro will direct the sequel.
