11 militants killed in Pakistan

At least 11 militants were killed and 19 injured Friday in an operation launched against them by security forces in Pakistan's northwest tribal region, Geo News reported.

The military operation was launched in Mamuzai area of Orakzai Agency.

Sources said three compounds housing militants were destroyed.
