And just like that, it's been a decade since Harley-Davidson India has been in existence. To sweeten the experience, Capital Harley-Davidson, the company's authorized Gurgaon dealership is offering the Street 750 at a price of Rs 4.33 lakhs, instead of the usual Rs 5.33 lakh price tag. (ex-sh)
The more than attractive offer comes with its own terms and conditions, and is a standalone dealership scheme, and can't be clubbed with any other offer. Hat tip to automotive enthusiast Amit Chugh for sharing the update.
The dealership, as of last week was offering its Street 750 for an EMI of 7.5k upon a 75k down payment. With the 750 Street being the smallest offering from the brand in India, it's the brand that gives most people a starting opportunity to acquaint with the brand owing to its entry price point. As is obvious, it's the company's highest seller in India, followed by the Street Rod.
The dealership has a limited stock of both model year bikes - 2018, and 2019. There's no hidden clause. As such, while the offer is on both MY 750s, the number of 2019 Harley Davidson 750s being sold at a benefit will be lesser in number. Both 2018 and 2019 are limited in stock.
All bikes on offer are stock bikes with 0 kms on the odo. Those keen on getting a 750, would be getting a Rs 64k discount on a limited number of the 2019 Harley Davidson edition. The 1 lakh discount offer is limited to the 2018 MY Street 750. As per the dealer, there is no difference whatsoever in the 2018 and 2019 manufactured Street 750.
All bikes on offer are in the same colour - Vivid Black. The 10-year anniversary occasion offers the right fillip to boost sales, and pass on benefits to potential customers.
And while the 750cc Street is the lowest cc bike the brand sells in India, globally the company also sells the 500cc Street. In recent years, Harley-Davidson is preparing for a smaller engine capacity range/bike in the Asian market.
The company has however not yet revealed the partner they will work with in the region. Harley has plans to launch a 250-400cc bike by 2022, to take on Royal Enfield in India. The Street 750 and Street 500 are globally the brand's entry price point offerings since 2013. With its entry-level cruisers, the brand has been able to reach out to a newer audience in emerging markets globally.
