Cape Town - Daniel James says he is fulfilling a childhood dream by joining Manchester United and he has hailed the club's ambition.
The Wales international became manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing when he joined United on Wednesday, with James signing a five-year deal at Old Trafford.
James told the club website: "I think the ambition they've got for the club is amazing for the next few years - to get players in who are hungry and ready to work hard.
"I believe that and I'm one of those players. I'm willing to work hard. It's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
United finished in sixth spot last year but punters may wish to use their free bet to back Solskjaer's side to return to the top four next season as James is likely to be the first of a number of new arrivals during the summer window.
The winger only made his league debut for Swansea in August and went on to enjoy an impressive campaign in the Championship - and James is now looking forward to the chance of making a name for himself in the Premier League.
He said: "For me, it's surreal, really. I think every kid grows up wanting to play for Manchester United.
"I never thought I'd be able to play against them, never mind play for them, so it's surreal, and I'm really looking forward to it. I can't wait to get started."
