DC Design Studios has remodelled and customized the Mahindra Marazzo M8 variant. It gets no changes to its exterior design as the aftermarket specialists have solely turned their attention to the interiors giving it a look of the highly exclusive Audi A8.
The accompanying video shows off the exteriors of the Mahindra Marazzo in much the same design and features as is seen on the stock model. However, a step into the interiors, changes ones perspective to something so exclusive that can only be seen in the likes of the more premium Audi A8.
For starters, the driver's side door opens to reveal beach coloured wooden paneling and quality leather. It receives ambient lighting, matching arm rest finished in glossy leather and buttons for power windows. The steering wheel is also fashioned with wood and quality leather giving it a two tone finish with steering mounted controls. DC Design has completely revamped the dashboard. Youtube channel Ujjwal Saxena has created a walkaround video which can be seen below.
It completely customized with wood and leather finish all around and immediately shows off a premium stance. It is dominated by a large 18" touchscreen infotainment system offering Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Radio, FM and Bluetooth. There is an 8 GB internal memory for music and 4 speakers.
The lower controls are for regulating automatic climate control, hazard lights, passenger side airbags and co-driver side seat, etc. There is also a leather encased gear lever along with central console with 2 USB ports and a 12 V socket. The co-driver seat is fully adjustable to the front, rear and for reclining to a 180 degree angle.
Heading to the rear cabin, the seats are finished in white leather. The driver door gets ambient lighting, door pockets, arm rests, while windows get sun blinds with aluminum mesh curtains. There are two individual touchscreens for rear passengers with USB ports for watching movies, a headphone jack for Android TV and iPad housing.
The passenger section gets lounge seats with adjustable buttons at the sides. The seat behind the co-driver can be reclined to 160 degrees for utmost comfort and leg room is at 45 inches while the seat behind the driver has limited reclining facility. Both seats can be motorized forward and backward and come with calf support as well.
It also gets foldable headrests, foot rests and a central console which acts as an arm rest but also houses cup holders, storage facility and a 7 liter cooler. The passenger section behind the co-driver also gets a drop down table. No changes are made to third row seats which continue in their stock condition except for matching upholstery.
The total cost for all these modifications in DC Designed Mahindra Marazzo M8 variant is at Rs.4.99 lakhs which excludes the cost of the vehicle.
