ScholarScripts Spooktacular Costume Contest' fundraising for CFC one vote at a time.
Collinsville, CT (Merxwire) - Headquartered in Connecticut, RemedyOne's charity Foundation ScholarScripts is raising money for Cancer for College, an interesting way for community participation through the annual "SydextScript Spooktacular Halloween Costume Competition." The charity aims to help cancer survivors realize the dream of college education and thus have a positive impact on the world.
This competition allows each participant to win a cash prize or scholarship while contributing to a valuable cause. Mike Waterbury, founder and CEO of RemedyOne, said: "The vision of the Spooktacular Halloween Costume Competition is not only a fun way to raise money for CFCs and outstanding survivors, but also a way to give back to the community."
The contest is simple; participants submit a photo of themselves or their furry friends wearing a costume to one of eight categories at www.gogophotocontest.com/scholarscripts, then share to their social networks and get their friends and family to vote for them. The participant with the most votes in each category wins his or her choice of $500 cash or a $500 scholarship. The person with the most votes overall wins an additional $1,000.
Each vote is $1 УЂтЌт with no limit on how many times someone can vote. Categories include Babies/Children, College Students, Teens/Adults, Furry Friends, Groups, Super Heroes, Will Ferrell Characters and Game of Thrones.
"We have high hopes for this campaign," says Greg Flores, Executive Director of Cancer for College. "Hitting ScholarScripts' fundraising goal will show just how caring and compassionate we can be as a society."
The campaign goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000 but anything is possible if you dream big with a positive attitude. The contest runs October 1 through November 4.
