Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Tsepo Masilela is set to make a return to the Absa Premiership after Bloemfontein Celtic revealed the centre-back is training with them.
Masilela has been clubless for 15 months after being released by Chiefs at the end of the 2017/2018 season but Celtic media liaison officer Brilliant Mkhathini confirmed that the former Bafana Bafana left-back has been training with Phunya Sele Sele since Tuesday.
"There's nothing we can say for now, he's training with the club," Mkhathini told KickOff.
"We played a friendly yesterday and we are playing another one on Saturday. The coach [Jozef Vukusic] is not rushing on them [Masilela and Mario Booysen]."
34-year-old Masilela, who won 51 caps for Bafana Bafana, spent time with La Liga outfit Getafe and Israeli giants Maccabi Haifa as well as Chiefs.
