SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo feels the Premier Soccer League club's future will be secure as a result of their investment in youth.
Clubs throughout the world are starting to feel the pinch of inactivity, with player purchases said to be a thing of the past.
While lots of clubs attempt the process of blooding young talent, SuperSport have consistently given young players a chance in their senior side, and have signed a number of young stars from fellow PSL clubs over the years.
Speaking to IOL, Tembo said: "If you look (in the PSL), we are the only team that has been consistently giving young players game time in the past two seasons. For me, that's progress."
He added: "We know that we are going to face difficult times with the Covid-19, there won't be money to buy players. But that means we are already a step ahead, because we've got young players that are already playing Premier League football."
Sipho Mbule (22), Teboho Mokoena (23), Jamie Webber (22), Luke Fleurs (20) and Jesse Donn (21) have all played their part at Matsatsantsa this season.
