See Kai Run to donate one pair of shoes for every pair bought to help fight pediatric cancer. While consuming, let us care for the children who are suffering, show love together, and perform public welfare.
Seattle, WA (Merxwire) - GivingTuesday started in 2012. The concept at the time was simple. One day a year was reserved to encourage people to do good deeds. Today, GivingTuesday has grown into a global movement that has inspired millions of people and companies to contribute to society. On Tuesday, December 1, children's footwear brand See Kai Run will collaborate with Northwest non-profit Footprints of FightУТ to support children and their families suffering from cancer.
"Our mission is to help families navigate the treatment process," said Brianna Nettleton, Co-Founder/Vice President of Footprints of Fight. "We do this by providing everyday services, which helps reduce a family's stress, and increases levels of optimism, courage and resilience. УТ This can include services such as bi-weekly house cleaning and professional yard maintenance or items such as groceries and now shoes."
Footprints of Fight has always been helping families suffering from illness. They have cooperated with three children's hospitals in Washington State and have provided services to more than 400 families in the past 4 to 5 years.
On December 1, See Kai Run will donate a pair of shoes for each pair of shoes sold on seekairunbasics.com, and Footprints of Fight will cooperate with the hospital to distribute these shoes to pediatric cancer patients and their families.
For See Kai Run, their participation in GivingTuesday caps a season of giving that included donating more than 5,000 shoes to the international non-profit, Soles 4 SoulsУТ in September and by providing shoes to the students at theУТ Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center in October of this year.
See Kai Run encourages followers to support the GivingTuesday campaign by visiting seekairunbasics.com, where their purchase will help support Footprints of Fight and those patients and families facing pediatric cancer.
