Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is out for Thursday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders with a concussion.
Lamb suffered the injury last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs and had been in the concussion protocol. The Cowboys put forth an optimistic outlook during the week that Lamb would be able to play.
The second-year player missed practice Monday and Tuesday and was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Lamb, 22, was injured late in the first half of the Cowboys' 19-9 loss to the Chiefs on a jump ball in the end zone. Lamb had three catches for 14 yards. The 2020 first-round pick has 50 catches for 740 yards and six touchdowns on the season.
The Cowboys (7-3) also are facing the Raiders (5-5) without starting wideout Amari Cooper, who remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The unvaccinated Cooper tested positive last week and has to quarantine a mandatory 10 days.
Dallas will also be without offensive line coach Joe Philbin and assistant strength and conditioning coach Kendall Smith after both tested positive for the coronavirus.
Philbin's duties will be assumed by assistant line coach Jeff Blasko.
