Rasmus Andersson had the game-winning goal at 3:28 of overtime to go along with two assists as the Calgary Flames rallied to defeat the host Seattle Kraken 4-3 on Monday night.
Elias Lindholm, Jonathan Huberdeau and Andrew Mangiapane scored for the Flames, who improved to 5-1-2 over their past eight games. Goaltender Dan Vladar made 28 saves.
Vince Dunn had a goal and an assist and Jordan Eberle and Jared McCann also scored for the Kraken, who were trying to beat the Flames in Seattle for the first time in franchise history. Joey Daccord stopped 22 of 24 shots after replacing Philipp Grubauer following the first period.
Andersson carried the puck down the right wing in overtime and circled behind the net. Daccord stopped a wraparound attempt but lost his stick in the process, and Andersson got his own rebound and lifted a shot over the sprawling goalie.
Mangiapane tied the score at 3-3 at 15:53 of the third period. Noah Hanifan's shot from the left point hit Mangiapane, and the puck fell behind Daccord in the crease. Mangiapane was able to swipe it into the net before the Daccord could cover it.
The Flames scored just 1:16 into the first period while Seattle was stuck on its first shift. Lindholm's wrist shot from the top of the right faceoff circle found its way into the far left corner of the net.
The Kraken tied it at 8:42 as Alex Wennberg won an offensive zone faceoff and sent the puck back to Dunn at the left point. Dunn's slap shot beat Vladar, who was screened by a pair of his own teammates.
The Flames regained the lead on the power play at 11:40 on Huberdeau's wrist shot from just past the top of the left faceoff circle.
Seattle scored goals 2:04 apart midway through the second to take the lead.
Eberle tied the score at 8:21 on a backhander before the Kraken took the lead at 10:25. McCann redirected defenseman Adam Larsson's shot from along the right-wing boards just inside the near post. It was McCann's eighth goal of the season, tying Jaden Schwartz for the team lead.
