Former Chelsea midfielder Ji So-yun will return to England to play for Birmingham City on a short-term deal from the Seattle Reign.
Ji played for Chelsea for eight years, winning 13 major trophies, including six WSL titles, from 2014 to 2022.
'I'm looking forward to playing in England again,' Ji said. 'I like the ambition of the club and I hope I can help Birmingham on their journey to promotion and bring some exciting football for the fans. I am coming here to win.'
After leaving Chelsea in 2022, Ji played for South Korean top-flight side Suwon FC before joining the Reign in January 2024, where she made 41 appearances in all competitions. She started nine of the club's 18 NWSL matches this season.
The 34-year-old is a legend in her home country of South Korea, where she holds the all-time record for most appearances with 169 caps and the most goals with 74.
