Jaden Nixon rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on four carries, and had a kickoff return for a touchdown, to help Central Florida earn a 68-7 rout of FCS opponent North Carolina A&T in Orlando on Saturday.The game started an hour later than scheduled due to inclement weather.Jacurri Brown had 106 yards rushing and two touchdowns on five carries for the Knights (2-0), who amassed 560 yards of total offense and 356 rushing yards. UCF also forced three turnovers from North Carolina A&T.UCF left little doubt early, jumping out to a 28-0 lead after the first quarter.The Knights started the scoring right away, taking a 7-0 lead when Nixon returned the opening kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.UCF took a 14-0 lead with 9:46 remaining in the first quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run by Tayven Jackson. Following an interception that gave UCF the ball at the North Carolina A&T 24-yard line, Jackson scored on a 4-yard touchdown run to put the Knights up 21-0.UCF took a 28-0 lead with 2:06 left in the first on a defensive touchdown when Nyjalik Kelly sacked North Carolina A&T quarterback Champ Long and forced a fumble that was recovered in the end zone by Rodney Lora.Nixon then put UCF up 34-0 on an 87-yard touchdown run with 13:55 left in the second quarter.Field goals of 34 and 36 yards by Noe Ruelas gave UCF a 40-0 lead at halftime.Nixon added a 66-yard touchdown run with 6:56 left in the third quarter to make it 47-0 UCF, and then Brown scored on a 60-yard touchdown run to put UCF up 54-0 with 4:18 to go in the third.North Carolina A&T's lone touchdown came on a 17-yard touchdown run by Shimique Blizzard with 3:00 left in the game.Blizzard finished with 75 yards rushing on 11 carries for North Carolina A&T.--Field Level Media
