Jusuf Nurkic scored with 0.6 seconds to play to give the visiting Utah Jazz a 105-103 victory over the Boston Celtics on Monday night.
Jaylen Brown was called for an offensive foul while Boston was trying to inbound the ball following Nurkic's basket, which prevented the Celtics from attempting a final shot.
Keyonte George led Utah with 31 points. The Jazz ended a three-game losing streak and improved to 1-3 on the road.
Lauri Markkanen added 20 points, Kyle Filipowski scored 13 and Nurkic had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Utah, which trailed by 14 in the second quarter.
Boston tied the game at 103 on a Neemias Queta free throw with 24.8 seconds left, but Queta missed his second attempt. On Utah's final possession, Nurkic grabbed an offensive rebound and scored on a putback. Utah had a 55-36 edge in rebounds.
Boston was 11 of 51 from 3-point territory. Brown led all scorers with 36 points, but missed each of his nine 3-point attempts.
Payton Pritchard added 18 points for the Celtics, who fell to 1-3 at home. Anfernee Simons scored 15 off the bench and Derrick White had 10.
Boston scored the game's first 10 points and led 25-21 after one quarter. The Celtics had their largest lead of the first half, 43-29, following a Pritchard basket with 3:01 left in the second quarter.
Utah shot 31.3% from the field through the first two quarters and trailed 46-36 at halftime.
The Jazz charged ahead in the third quarter and led 66-61 after George made a 3-pointer with 3:29 remaining in the period, but the Celtics responded with a 9-0 run to take a 70-66 lead. Utah scored more points in the third quarter (38) than it did in the first half (36) and led 74-72 entering the final 12 minutes.
Utah had its largest lead of the game, 90-79, following Kevin Love's basket with 7:17 remaining.
Boston grabbed its first lead in the fourth quarter when White made a 3-pointer to put the Celtics up 99-98 with 1:54 to play.
