The Boston Bruins signed forward Lukas Reichel to a one-year contract extension on Thursday.
Reichel, 23, of Germany, will carry a $950,000 salary cap hit for the 2026-27 NHL season.
He recorded three goals and five assists in 29 games with three teams during the 2025-26 campaign.
Boston acquired him from Vancouver on March 6 in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick.
Reichel has 62 points (23 goals, 39 assists) in 198 career games with the Chicago Blackhawks (2021-25), Canucks (2026) and Bruins. He was selected by the Blackhawks with the 17th overall pick of the 2020 NHL Draft.
